How Esna works

Esna connects you with makers and suppliers in Saudi Arabia. You post your request, they send you quotes, you pay through Esna, and Esna holds the money and pays the maker on the order's terms.

Ordering and paying through Esna opens soon — for now, you can message makers directly.

The steps

  1. 1. The customer posts a requestA file, a photo or a description of the part, with the quantity, the city and the date that suits them.
  2. 2. Makers send quotesEvery maker who fits your request can send a written quote: the price, VAT if any, and the delivery date.
  3. 3. The customer chooses and paysYou pick the quote that suits you and pay through a secure payment gateway: mada, Apple Pay or card.
  4. 4. Esna holds the moneyThe money reaches the maker only after delivery and the report window passing with no problem. On 50%-advance orders, the advance goes to the maker one day after payment or on delivery — whichever comes first — and you pay the rest once the order is confirmed.
  5. 5. The report window, then the ratingAfter delivery you have 3 days to report a problem — «Not received» or «Not as ordered» — and Esna decides. Then the order is confirmed and you rate the maker on quality, price and speed.

Prices and fees

Every order is priced by the maker in a written quote: the price, a VAT line if the maker is VAT-registered, and the delivery date. The customer pays only the quoted price — there are no fees for customers.

Joining and listing are free for makers and suppliers. When an order is completed through Esna, a commission of 5% of the quoted price before VAT is deducted from the maker's or supplier's payout.

Payment and refunds

Payment goes through a licensed payment gateway (Moyasar): mada, Apple Pay and cards. Esna holds the money and pays the maker on the order's terms, and if the maker is late, the delay penalty goes back to the customer.
